Dictionary.com has Tuesday afternoon issued an update to their popular application for iOS. The application offers a dictionary as well as a thesaurus all in one. Tuesday’s update brings the application to version 4.2.
The latest update brings hundreds of new words to the application that users can finally find the definition to. In addition, the application has received a better home screen that makes it easier to access features from the application such as word slideshows and Hot Word.
Dictionary.com version 4.2 also adds a new rhyming dictionary that has support for over 500,000 rhyming words. If you're into rhyming, then this update is definitely something you will want to check out. The rhyming dictionary is a premium upgrade that you'll have to pay for, but well worth it.
Currently the Dictionary.com application is on sale for 99¢ in the App Store. If you own the application already, you can download the update for free under the Updates tab in the App Store.
